EDUCATION
Dr. Yates received his bachelor’s degree from St. Vincent
College in Latrobe, Pa., and his medical degree from George
Washington University School of Medicine in Washington,
D.C. He completed training in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine
at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Yates is board-certified
in internal medicine.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Dr. Yates is assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University
of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. In addition to co-directing the
UPMC Corporate Health Program, he is a team physician for the Pittsburgh
Steelers, a senior aviation medical examiner for the Federal Aviation
Administration, and clinical adviser for the IMITS Air Force Telemedicine
program. |
