EDUCATION
Dr. Tabas received her undergraduate degree from Hofstra
University in New York and her medical degree from the
University of Pittsburgh. After completing an internship in
internal medicine at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of
Medicine, she completed a residency in internal medicine at
Winthrop University Hospital in New York. Dr. Tabas is board-certified
in internal medicine.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Dr. Tabas is a member of the American College of Physicians. She
is assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh
School of Medicine. As a National Health Service Corps scholarship
recipient, Dr. Tabas served three years in the U.S. Public Health
Service. She practiced emergency medicine at Ohio Valley General
Hospital for four years and was in private practice in internal
medicine for five years before joining UPMC in 1999. |
